Dernière-née des courses cyclistes régionales, la Cyclosportive du Valais 2026 s’inscrit dans un calendrier événementiel sédunois riche et diversifié. Elle donne une touche sportive à notre Fête nationale.

La Cyclosportive du Valais est ouverte à toutes et tous. Elle fait la part belle à la convivialité et au plaisir de pédaler ensemble dans le décor grandiose du Valais central. Sur les coteaux entre Saillon et Sierre, les participants pourront admirer les magnifiques paysages de la plaine du Rhône et les échappées vers les sommets. A Sion, ils ne manqueront pas de lever les yeux vers Valère et Tourbillon, nos deux châteaux sentinelles qui donnent à la ville sa physionomie si particulière et attachante.

Au nom du conseil municipal, je remercie très chaleureusement les organisateurs et tous les bénévoles qui ont rendu possible cette course. Et je souhaite beaucoup de plaisir aux cyclistes qui mouilleront le maillot sur les routes du Valais central !

The Valais Cyclosportive is not just a race, it is a celebration of connection and sharing. It reminds us that performance only has meaning when accompanied by respect and solidarity.

I salute the work of the organizers, the commitment of the volunteers, and the support of the City of Sion. Thanks to them, this event will fly the flag for our canton and its spirit.

May this first edition, celebrated on our National Day, mark the beginning of a new tradition: that of a Valais that is dynamic, innovative, and inspiring.
