Celebrating Swiss National Day by Bike in Valais
After a highly successful first edition, this popular event returns to Sion, the Capital of the Alps, for its second edition! 🚴♂️
The concept remains the same: with distances ranging from 40 to 130 km, there’s a route for everyone to celebrate Swiss National Day in the heart of Valais. And just like last year, all participants will receive a jersey featuring the colors of the canton and the country 😁🇨🇭
The routes remain unchanged and feature, depending on the distance chosen, 1 to 3 timed climbs. To ensure everyone’s safety, marshals will be stationed along the entire route, which will take cyclists into the heart of the western Valais valley, on both sides of the Rhône River, around Sion.
New this year: an additional aid station will be added in Saillon.
Open to participants ages 14 and up, depending on the route chosen, and e-bikes are permitted on all routes (except the “Grand” route).
